Regarding the immobiliser, the chassis loom includes a 12 way connector to it, seemingly behind dash. When this option is not spec'd the factory fit a shorting plug which allows continuity to engine functions. It appears you could therefore retro-fit the immobiliser in place of this plug. Not sure of exact location of associated transponder which reacts to fob but believe it's near ignition switch.
