Yes that sounds about right and yup there will always be some bad apples in the barrel.
Although as i recall the saying is "One bad apple will spoil the whole barrel" rather than the sense in which it is often used, which is to imply that the bad apples are just the odd one or two. The true meaning is more like if you don't get the bad apples out, the problem will spread.
On topic content: the Mini is a single click operation, except for the tailgate, which will open if you just have the key in your pocket. Obvs designed for when you have your hands full with shopping. It offers keyless entry on the other doors too if you want, but you've still got to grab hold of the door handle and pull so I'm struggling to see where the value lies.
