The Plus 8 has BMW cruise control, I find I use it often, especially outside Wiltshire.
I also use WAZE as a navigation / speed camera warning device.
I am taking my 8 to the Med again in June - cruise control is vital for this long trip. Mostly because it stops me gradually increasing speed to 100mph + on the perfect French road surfaces.
I use Waze for 100% of motoring in the UK. Largely for speed camera alerts.
