Best mod I made to my 4/4 was taking out the knackered old 87bhp CVH engine and putting in a tuned 165bhp GM Ecotec VVTi. Or to be more accurate, paying Kevin Vernon to do it for me. Other than that I've been particularly pleased with:

- Fitting hard chrome kingpins
- SSL Front suspension
- Quaife ATB 4.1:1 Diff
- Simmonds hood
- My 3D printed coin tray and water bottle holder
- Additional LED brake light strip mounted to rear luggage rack
- Tool tray under rear shelf
- Twin piston billet front brake callipers and reaction bars
- Panhard rod and anti-tramp bars

Modifications which upon reflection were a waste of time and have now been discarded:

- Wind wings
- Subwoofer behind the driver's seat
- removing the damper blades and fitting a telescopic damper
