This sums up a sad thing (in my view) that has happened to our society. I used to visit clients in my Morgan(s) and the comments changed over the last few years from (previously) "what a beautiful old car" to "that's worth alot of money".
I get that, and then am met with genuine surprise when they find out they paid 50% more for their tintop econobox
I then point out the £500 car that I use for my daily driver.

All about choices.
As I tinker with my Mog on the front drive (there is no barrier between the drive and pavement) I have numerous chats every day about her. Some know all about Morgans (they have appeared on telly a few times recently), others are genuinely interested to learn. Everyone from old boys, kids to the local smackheads. It can be a little frustrating at times if I'm in the middle of something tricky, but in the most I enjoy the conversation, and the attention the old girl gets.
