The mats in my 3 Wheeler are a pain in the ar5e so am mulling over sorting some in chequer plate. Firstly does anyone sell these and secondly if I do my own what thickness should I use?

1.5 - 2.0 mm will be plenty thick enough, find a local metal fabricator, they will cut them to size for you - take good measurements or make some cardboard templates.
