I took the fittings off - pretty easy once you remove a few trim screws - and then used a punch and hefty few blows on the back of the pins supported on a vice which spread the pins a little and locked them up tight again. This was what my supplying dealer recommended when I spoke to them and as they were a long way from me I decided to DIY to avoid a long return trip. Have done about 5k miles since and both are still tight.
Mine had got to the stage where you couldn't shut the doors with the side screens on without lifting them
Did exactly the same, pins out, smacked several times with a lump hammer, tapped the pins back in. Same successful result.
I have new oversize pins/reemer in the wings, but currently no need.
