For me the GTR is a major case of miss alignment of Purpose and product. I have mixed feelings on it’s long term brand impact and owner prospects.

If you want something that is very close to what was actually competed (or has strong alignment to purpose) - no need to look further than S1, S2 and GTN’s.

I’ve excluded the later Coup’s as the racers were in reality completely re-engineered cars and even the silhouette is different.
