I am surprised that there is not more noise re the accident.
There has been a move away from the Kitty Litter (stones) in the run off areas for a long time now and it was a perfect demo of why.
Inverted car could result in stones being dragged into the car hammering the head/body?
When the broad side of the car dug in it catapulted it over the protective barrier and had it not been for the fence there was serious risk to a crowd?
That's before we discuss it being dragged back onto the track and then sent like missiles from under the driven wheels.
The sooner they change it to tarmac the better.
Thank god they have made the cars so structurally sound.
