Hmm, yes. Slurp away!  It's the stalk bending that is helping my pause. The rewire to shift the power feed for the drive lamps from the switch side of the multiway connector to the loom side is no problem. When I did a minor rewire at the front a couple of years ago - horns and drive lamps - I fitted a relay for the drive lamps to reduce current flow through the main/dip switch. Cheers,
