My CTEK 5.0 charger is excellent, keeps my Roadster battery in tip-top condition and it always starts first time. It is also good value for money IMHO. However I previously wasted almost as much on buying a CTEK 0.8 which was useless at maintaining the previous (older) battery. My advice if anyone is in the market for a CTEK is to study the specs and user reviews carefully before parting with your money. And ask yourself if your car’s battery is even slightly like a motorcycle battery, which the 0.8 will cope with.
