How do you fold your hood ?
This is not a problem I have ever encountered. I have had badly placed luggage cause an issue - I always check the belts now when I am loading up for a trip.
Ive tried a couple of ways Paul but I always seem to have it rubbing. I have a nice cover for it but when its popped up its doesnt pull it out of the way. I probably need to adjust where the poppers, pop !
I dont think it helps that the webbing feeds through the guide loop at an acute angle too. Combined with a not particularly strong spring and its slow to retract
