On my '67 Plus 4 (four seater) is a 4" (round) and about 4-5" deep round cylinder (bolted on to the end of the tool box) that is in line to the coil/points going to a toggle switch under the dash and from that switch off in to the mystery wire harness. I'm told it is a booster. I've asked several very very knowledgeable people about it and they all agree it is some sort of booster, but no one has ever see anything like it. So I'm a bit puzzled..
