I think it's a nice homage to have TOK. Only Morgan enthusiasts understand the significance. When I was with my car in London a few months ago an Australian couple who happened to own a 4/4 stopped to chat with me. Their first comment was - "love the numberplate".
I think L24 TOK is a nice idea - very appropriate. My firs Mog was M66 TOK - M being the first letter of my surname and 66 being my birth year. My current one is D8 TOK - D for David. I chose 8 because my wife is Chinese and she said the number 8 is very auspicious and lucky in China.
How lucky we are that Chris Lawrence's car wasn't registered GIT 258. I doubt it would be so popular then.
