This saga reminds me on the Jensen Healey, Jensen rushed the car into production, the result was an underdeveloped car with so many problems they released a MK2 version just 18 months later, but it was to late the damage to Jensen's reputation was done and although the MK2 Healey was a decent enough car the company folded just 2 years or so later.
I had one. It went back to the dealers within a month or so after numerous failures.
