In fact the centre board cleaned up well & 5 coats of Cuprinol. Rear was absolutely “shot”
Fwd board is fine. Have replaced rear with Accoya (https://www.accoya.com/uk/) When I get a min I’ll post how.

Please post some progress shots as I may have to help someone with a tank swop later this year & as I understand it the boards have to be wriggled out and the tank dropped out from below
