Hello @ all,
a few weeks ago I bought a 2001 Plus 8 in southern England and drove her home to Herrenberg (Germany). A dream came true. I am on the wrong side of the 60s and its hurts to fold like a swiss army knife to get into the drivers seat; but when there a bright grin from ear to ear could be seen in the back mirror.
My navigation gadget let me down and after xx kilometres I saw the sign -> Hoek van Holland again. I was totally lost and couldn't ask anybody for directions. I circled Rotterdam one more time and tried hard to head south. I regard this tour as an extended test drive on superb Autobahn lanes.
Started in Hoek van Holland at 8 am - was at home at 5 pm (approx. 700 km later). Had lots of fun racing with BMWs and Audis
Looking forward to benefit from all the experts around here.
Already got good advice how to handle/service the parking brake smile
kind regards
Axel

Advantage of hydraulic brakes: equally surface pressure all around (old advertisment of ATE)
