Havn’t seen it commented & I am sure things are improving, but cost in replacements of the inverter/inverters. My “sunny boy” (SMA) had to be changed after only 5 years.
Most manufacturers have a standard 5 year warranty that can be extended to 10/15/20 years but the extension costs are normally equivalent to a new inverter....
The old SMA's did seem to fail at about 5-7 years, although some still going strong now 10/11 years later - its complete luck of the draw regarding longevity.
You can now purchase inverters for half the price of what they were 5 years ago.
