The great thing about luggage racks (at any price point) is they are so versatile. I recently de-mounted the rack from my Roadster for the non-touring winter months, thereby gaining about 4" in space in my garage.
The geometry means it is ideal for airing those Mog-specific laundry items such as micro-fibre polishing cloths, drying sponges, and even the occasional chamois (remember them ?).
