A phone call to Berrybrook at lunch time today brought considerable progress.
Mark and Martyn had a (quote) big argument with the factory and the upshot is that the factory will replace my screen f.o.c. as a one of.
ETA on the screen is this week with fitting next week.
The factory claimed not to have had two screen failures (non impact) reported on the same newish vehicle, and as such will not identify a "problem", the reasoning behind this I think we all clearly understand.
I reminded Martyn at this time that the "average" owner does not run their car all year round or cover 8,000 a year, which maybe is relevant.
This is a solution but not the right one, because when the next screen cracks, doubtless the claim on insurance card will appear.
This is so wrong for two reasons which I won't insult anyones intelligence by explaining.
Sidestepping their responsibility comes to mind as the main issue as Manufacturer.
Putting a plaster on a running sore is not the answer as I said in previous posts.
Thank you everyone for your help and advise along the way, and rest assured any more news you'll get to hear about on here - hopefully it won't involve the demise of the 3rd windscreen.

I phoned Berrybrook yesterday pm to check on delivery of the screen.
I spoke with Bradley (one of the Morgan tech's) and he confirmed that the screen was in and that we will be fitting it Monday if convenient to me. Martyn and I had pre-arranged this earlier in the week provided the screen arrived Friday.
We wait and see now I guess and best case scenario being the screen remains intact.
If this proves not to be the case Berrybrook are advocating that the car goes back to the factory, this is a pretty positive move I felt.
Screen fitted succesfully including a revised mounting bar, (increased gauge of stainless it would appear now & the angle adjusted such that the screen is inclined rearward thus relieving any pressures from the hood when fitted) the result of this is that the sidescreens now contact the top of the bar.
When looked at in side view the sidescreen to windscreen mounting bracket are not parallel - the distance difference widening significantly towards the base of the windscreen.
I guess the increase in the angle of the screen will help to spill the air over the top of the rail as well.
No mention of the revised mounting bracket was made during my visit to Berrybrook.
We can maybe draw our own conclusions from that.
Hopefully we can put this annoyance with the non impact related cracked screens to bed at last.
Rest assured I will provide feedback as and when during my Winter miles on the Moors and in Cornwall visiting my son and his partner.
