The issue as I see it is that the bottom fixing of the bobbins is on a L shaped bracket that is bolted to the chassis. The top fixing is on a plate that shares a fixing with the silencer u- clamp.It looks to me that the only way of doing it is to remove the L bracket, but are the bolts that hold it, captive, or are they likely to either slip inside the chassis rail or when re- tightening, go round and round.
That’s really all I need to know.


There’s enough float and flex in the exhaust system to just under the bobbin nuts and lift the system off of them

and for extra ground clearance you can chop some of the thread off the lower stud which makes fitting them easier still.
