A car is worth what someone will pay for it, no more, no less.
There is a significant difference between insured (replacement) value and sale/trade in price.
I am very, very aware how much it can cost to deal with electro/mechanical problems and some wear issues.
This is why I don't think my Plus 8 (46k miles) is worth anywhere near what some armchair pundits would think.
