If you're looking for a stay near Swindon then I can highly recommend https://www.wildthymeandhoney.co.uk/ just east of Cirencester It's another fancy pub like the Red Lion that Peter recommends (& I would too) - but a smidge easier on the pocket, with more rooms. & dog friendly :-) Thanks, looks good but no availability on our chosen dates.
