Our first pre loved Renault 5 had a matrix full of brown crud. Once flushed it was fine.
The ali rad on my Roadster has slowed the point the fan comes on but the gauge reads a similar temperature & the heater is fine but I can imagine if it is the same size/ volume for a 4 cyclinder car it might be too much. I guess Simon will come along as comment as I would expect there would be many people complaining.
