Dictators who invade other nations don't have a good track record, and you would think that even mad dictators would consider history.
But no. Who was the last Dictator to successfully invade other countries? I realise this is complex, and colonialisation muddies the water.
The Romans did very well, but my grasp of history makes what followed the collapse of the Roman Empire a bit hazy.
