when the time is right to retire?
In my case, when the board decided to shut down the joint venture project in which I was working. The MD asked what I was going to do. I said I was going to accept the large redundancy cheque and my full pension and retire.
That was when I was 58. Haven't regretted it at all, There is plenty to do in retirement if you want.
