Its not really progress, back in the early 1990s I was involved in the development of a computerised estimating system for construction & the software company we used had an outside swimming pool as the cooler for the mainframe computer running their accounts system.
They were based in Matlock & I have a photo somewhere of the pool in use whilst the surrounding grounds are covered in snow.
Having said that, its a sensible thing to do with mutual benefits to both parties so what's not to like.
