Depress clutch and and attempt to start (which as you will know it will not) a couple of times. I was surprised how much oil had left the tank and how quickly it was returned.
This method will probably work, but does run the risk of blowing the crank and/or pinion seals. A safer method is to drain the oil into a clean container via the sump plug and then pour it into the oil tank.


I will not do that again then but if you can strip your plug, i definitely can. Just checked and lost plenty out of the tank again after just 3 weeks.
