Prompted by my lovely wife having a major spinal surgery and needing to own a Morgan she can get in and out of with a modicum of dignity, after a lifetime of nimble Lotus and proper 2-speed Morgans, I, having reached a certain age, have finally been turned to the Dark Side by Helen at Richard Thorne and added a 16,000 mile, 2001 Plus 8 4 wheeler to the menagerie.
Previous brief forays into 4 wheelers have met with disappointment and acute Post Purchase Remorse, but I am pleasantly surprised how good this car is when after many decades, they finally figured out how to make them steer like a car rather than a supertanker.
VERY dark green, stone leather, 4 litre, excellent power steering - Not at all like my visceral 1929 Super Aero JAP, but a wonderful gentlemanly old thing to waft around the place in with my sweetheart at my side.[img]
