I know the day is almost over but best wishes to all.

Yesterday we had an incredibly strong föhn wind. It was hitting about 50 knots in the strongest gusts and was whipping the tops off the waves. For those that don't know the föhn is a hot dry alpine wind and in this part of the world blows away all the clouds. It can create a false spring which can even cause plants to start budding.

We have had a Christmas day with blue sky and a maximum temperature of about 15 degrees C. Probably more in the sun.

We sat down at the table at about 1 o'clock and finished with the fruit at about 5. Needless to say no one wants supper tonight.
