Many threads on TM show how much you can tinker with, fiddle with and personalise a trad Morgan.
There are few areas of the trad car that you can't do something with or too to make it yours.
Cx owners are left wondering if a motolita wheel can be made to fit their 2023 car.......... That's about it.......😁
Although, CX owners can spend some time wondering what recall will be next for their car as well as calculating if their car has devalued by 15% or 20% with the release of the new model year update.
I'm with Peter, sadly 2040 looks unlikely. Yes the cars are too expensive and too powerful. They're very good for a Morgan but poor for a modern car, even a budget modern car, never mind one costing upwards of £80k!
The factory/the Italians are set on building cars that they can update annually, that they can continue to raise the price of, and that move further and further away from the idea of crusty old farts in flying jackets.
Unfortunately it's the crusty old farts in flying jackets that have kept buying the cars for the last century, I accept they are probably a dying breed, but there aren't enough trendy good looking hipsters or George Clooney lookalikes (MMC advertising photos) to keep buying CX's at the rate needed, especially if they can buy an Aston or a Porsche or a Tesla (!!!!) for the same or less money.
I'd imagine some dealers are sweating a bit with the amount of stock that they are holding. I accept they do need some stock for the 'rush' but a lot of it has been sitting there for many months.
I haven't even mention the new 3 wheeler......£50,000....... £50K...... FIFTY THOUSAND QUID 😆😆😆😆
Form an orderly queue.......
