I had the Williams remap done on my 2012 2.0L duratec 4/4 about a fortnight ago.
I wasn't expecting a huge power increase or any vast difference. I hoped to smooth things out a bit perhaps and just allow the engine to work to its potential.
The factory ecu map is a basic ford sierra map from the late 90's/early2000's so the Williams one must be better than that..........
It does seem to be generally 'better'. It certainly goes well from 3500 rpm up to the redline, but that's not a lot of use in the real world.......
I'm not unhappy with it, for the cost it is certainly value for money.
I appreciate there are many more engine modifications that can be done and endless money spent in the pursuit of personalisation, it's all part of the joy of Morgans.
If going faster is your goal, I'd say the money is better spent buying something like a 3.7 roadster.
