One very important question I forgot to ask , does your +8 have catalysts? 1992/3 are the changeover years so you may , or may not , have them fitted as standard.

If there are absent , then you will automatically get a much more melodious tone , as the cats do absorb a lot of sound. If this is the case I would not be too concerned about fitting the quieter exhaust option.

If you do have cats then the louder option is probably going to suit you better.

Just another thought , most of the race cars use a repackable silencer, which as the name implies can be packed with differing amounts of absorbent mesh. They use less mesh for the circuits where noise restrictions are not stringent , and more for those where there is tighter control . This could be an option for you.
