If its off the road for a while or not off the road the cold weather will bugger up your rear window and it will discolour and can crack in future . Best to keep hood up over winter . cheers englandwave

Also, when the car is 'inside' over the winter or long periods, I put the roof on the frames but don't fasten it down fully so the hood is not under any tension. If your hood frame has swivel pivots it will be even easier for you to take the tension out of the hood when the car is tucked up in the garage.
