The point I was trying to make is that Morgan seek to be seen in the same light as Porsche, and other such cars.
But in the modern world to offer a modern technologically sophisticated car requires resources that MMC does not have.

I'd be very tempted by an "As New" Plus 4 with SSL suspension, re manufactured by Aero Racing, in a way that I'm not by a new 2023 PlusFour. I paid £50,000 for my Boxster and would have happily paid that for such a restored Plus 4. I would not pay almost 2X that for a 2023 PlusFour.

My 718 Boxster is one of the last generation of "basic" ICE cars, where the computers support the car and driver. I expect that the next generation of EV Porsche will be run by the computers and I have no interest in that sort of world.
A "new" 2008 Plus 4 has virtually no computer support, which is why I'd be interested. I'm not a "Spanner Juggler", though I have massive admiration for him and the others who can do that work. I just want a car that works, when I ask it to.

Porsche, as part of VAG, know where they want to be, Morgan knows where it wants to be. Which is more likely to be still here in 10 years? It is hard to say.
