Ok gurus, I had my timing belt snap on the weekend and after a little more exploration I am wondering if my oil pump hasn't seized.
How difficult is the oil pump to turn by hand? I am looking at the shaft at the bottom of the cam chest under the tensioner and right next to the broken end of the belt in this picture. I am completely unable to turn it by hand - I am assuming this should rotate quite freely.
Any thoughts?
