Having read the many comments under the article it seems that Telegraph readers (not all Morgan owners) agree with you. The idea of an electric Morgan (weight of battery etc) appals or amuses people. They also recognise the threat of the Italians bailing out and the Chinese buying the 'Brand' (just look at an MG now!) The general feeling is that petrol driven Morgans will be roaring on past 2035 or whatever.
