We had a Boxster for 7 years. Great car. The only problem was that it was automatically assumed you only had one because you could afford "a real" Porsche ie a 911.
When in fact the Boxster is a different animal and in a number of important ways, better than any 911..... One Boxster owner I know describes the car as a large, refined go cart, mostly because of the way it corners and rides.
It has more secure luggage space than a 911, although the rear seats of a 911 are great for larger luggage...
