I'll have to wait for the repeat Rich. Yes, the GTE and GTC were interesting cars. An acquaintance of mine does repairs/rebuilds on them (and other such vehicles including microcars) over in Gloucester. He currently has a Middlebridge Scimitar in, which has turned into a major refurb. As per usual, when starting these things an ever increasing list of work appears!
It prompted me to buy a book mainly on the Scimitar history, but gave a very brief history of Reliant. John and Richard (both suffix V6) may remember a very early 3-wheeled Reliant in a Norfolk car museum
