Yes, Reliant made the 3 wheeler vehicles they were the main stay of their production as the 3 wheelers were under 8cwt they could be driven on a motorcycle licence. I learned to drive in one before I was old enough to have a car licence. Handling was not as bad as Top Gear made out (they used an incline turn), but they did have a tendency to catch fire as the petrol feed to the carb, was a known weak point and could detach itself and pour hot petrol onto the engine. Fibreglass does deform quite quickly when heat is applied to it, I know from experience and tend to be more cautious when driving a fibreglass built car, as doors can deform quite quickly making exit more difficult.
