Nice one Jay! Don't think the adhesive should let go - as long as you cleaned the surface first with TomTom's solvent wet-wipe thingy - in my experience, this stuff sticks like the proverbial.
I tried suckering my SatNav to the speedo as an experiment when I went for a run on Wednesday. Worked fine - could hear all the nagging instructions even at speed - but couldn't see a darned thing on the screen, as the sun was behind me a lot of the way
Also realised that (when I could see the screen), I couldn't read the digital speed display clearly without looking over/under my glasses (or taking them off
) as I'm short-sighted. Not a problem with the good old-fashioned "analogue" speedo. So it's back to Plan A - clipped in under the dash
