Good call. There are lots of BSW nuts and bolts sprinkled randomly around your car.
And there is no substitute for the correct tool. Although remember that 1/2" BSW refers to the diameter of the thread, while 1/2" UNF is across the hex flat. You may be about to receive some quite large sockets...
