I rejected the galvanic thing as the coating is neoprene, not thinking of the Morgan goto of a galvanic reactions with fittings.

P.S. I changed all fittings on my last Morgan on arrival. Jw used to sell a complete kit for that purpose, using polished ss. They come in classic screws rather than machine screws the Factory began to use in
the hard era to save time.
