I am amazed. Our family car is a C300 estate - the one with AMG badges etc but not the performance. The insurance has just gone up on renewal by 28% and on searching round the comparison sites and some others I could not get a quote within £250 of even the renewal. In other words everyone else was wanting double last years actual.
No specific reason, clean record, no claims, live in the sticks.
Why? For the life of me I cant see a reason.
Probably for the same reason we have all taken a hit. The towrags who nick the BMs to outrun thecops and the thieving b*****s who export LRs by the hundreds. It seems modern security isn't as good as they tell us.
