For us oldies who have always been a bit frugal we often view the cost of things as a bit outrageous.
As someone pointed out to me the other day the younger generation thinks nothing of spending €1,500 on the latest phone to replace the one they bought last year or the year before.

I was looking at this the other day while I was agonising about spending €1,100 on a new laptop that I want but can't really justify.
My cars and computers I tend to replace between 8 and 10 years and phones about every 5 years.
Then I am paying nearly €3K in fees and membership of the local yacht club for a boat that I have used about 6 times in the last 3 years.

Taken in perspective £85 does not seem a lot of money and I am sure you will enjoy the benefits.
