I guess with the coil pack (Electronic ignition) up there there wasn't room maybe? I honestly have no idea Chris. The good news is my master is a stock Landrover part, available from the likes of John Craddock, Britpart etc, for around £50 +vat and pp https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/anr3894-clutch-master-cylinder-range-rover-95-02.html as well as seal kits. Invariably plenty of far east copies too.
