Your image must be .JPG, .PNG, or .GIF and cannot exceed 100x100 pixels.

Sorry but those two highlighted statements are not strictly true. Using the free Imgur account at least, the embed code can be pasted directly into a TM post as the image tags are conveniently already present. You simply copy the BBCode link as shown below, similar to tm-img.

No issues with .jpg image suffix being changed to .jpeg either which causes issues on TM for avatar links. On that subject whilst there is a warning to limit image size to 100 x 100 pixels exclusively for avatar image use, in practice there is no such limit, not to say discretion on picture size shouldn't be used.

My response above refered specifically to the question of using an image as an avatar in TalkMorgan. It seems that the UBB.threads forum software somehow handles the avatar image and even if it is loaded from another web url it still requires a .jpg extension if it is a JPEG type image.

Actually the image that you used as an example is a different type and is a .png image smile

Regarding inserting images in the body of a post, as you quite rightly say "You simply copy the BBCode link" and insert it in your post.

As a strange curiousity the Imgur site seems to handle both extensions for the one image.
Your avatar can be viewed both as https://i.imgur.com/GyNGwRn.jpg and https://i.imgur.com/GyNGwRn.jpeg

I will mention this to our software developer and see what his response is.
