I know the entire electrical system is not a great design, nothing like a Honda, but it sort of works. The starter switch is in such an inaccessible location to get to the rear of it it amazes me. I have removed the panel to access all the dashboard equipment to reverse the tach and speedo locations and trust me, pay attention to ALL the screws, spacers, washers etc because it fits only one way. The machine is not designed to be worked on although it can be done if you are persistent.
