Great that you were able to enjoy your A8 on a Spanish adventure, Unfortunately I do not have access to anything on Facebook thus missed out on further insight to your trip.
My good lady and I drove our old +8 down to Andalucía quite a few years back and for sure Spanish roads seem not to suffer pot holes as do our roads, and which the old +8`s suspension was far less exercised than normal... (-: Using Los Romanes as a base, we did discover quite a few of Southern Spain`s back roads, some of which were rather rough...and the old Mog handled them well enough too...(-:
