Some years ago the cylinders were replaced by the then Morgan dealer after a leak was detected during the austrian MOT. WIth the new cylinders the clutch was significantly immediately heavier. As I understand it the relative diameters of the cylinders determines the softness/hardness of the clutch. Unfortunately old cylinders were disposed of before I collected the car.
Can anyone tell me what the correct Master and slave cylinders for my car should be. Standard Kent engine and I think Escort gearbox. Are they still available and if so where?
Clutch has always been a minor issue but no-one was able to diagnose without taking engine and gearbox out. Sadly clutch hac given up the ghost so I'd like to address the cylinder question whilst this work is in progress.
